This Education Session will demonstrate that successful building and retrofit projects follow specific delivery strategies that enable the use of integrated practices – which lead to better budget and schedule control, a higher success rate in achieving sustainability goals, and ultimately a lower total cost of building ownership. - The keys to a successful project – Team Integration and Group Cohesion
- Methods to procure a collaborative team
- Use of energy modeling as a decision-making tool
- The concept of total cost of building ownership (life-cycle costing)
- The use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools to enhance both the project design and the team communication
